The Highlights of Our Recipes
Tasty: Many of our guests experience a plant-based menu for the first time when they visit us. For that reason, we take extra care to make sure our recipes will please a variety of palettes. We often test them on our pickiest eaters (including children) before sharing them with our guests.
Simple Ingredients: We design our recipes to be easy and simple to make with minimal ingredients. No need to hunt online for obscure items to make your vegan recipes come together. We like to use ingredients that are easy to find even in the most rural and remote grocery stores.
Hypoallergenic: We have seen just about every food allergy and intolerance possible. Most of our recipes are designed to minimize some of the foods that tend to upset sensitive stomachs. There are always options to switch out dairy products for coconut, nut, or oat alternatives.
Easy to Prepare: If you’ve come to stay with us on a retreat, you know just how busy our day can be. We always select recipes that are easy to prepare or can be prepared in advance so we aren’t spending hours slaving over a stove when we really want to be meditating with our guests.
