Enliven your body, soul, and energy being in this signature program designed and led by Jennifer Kavanagh. Each 2-hour class has been created using the practices of yoga vinyasa flow, pranayama (breathwork), meditation, mantra, and creative reflection exercises. They have been strategically and intuitively combined based on Jennifer’s doctoral research in stress, contemplative practices, and alternative holistic approaches to overall wellness.
These classes are held in a warmed yoga studio that is heated with infrared heat panels. The warmth is an important element to feeling relaxed and comfortable, especially during the winter months. It not only aids in allowing the muscle to relax for yoga, but in the mind to encourage release and the dark moods of the winter to lift. That being said, our studio does not heat beyond a temperature of 95 degrees, which is the same temperature experienced during summer months in Canada. Participants are encouraged however to dress for the warmth in shorts, capris, and t-shirts and to bring a water bottle with them.
The practice itself is designed for individuals who have a desire to push themselves a little deeper into their spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical practice. Each session will include an activating vinyasa sequence designed to elevate and accelerate their energetic vibration while releasing negative energy attachments. While previous yoga experience is not required, some physical fitness is recommended to be comfortable moving between the poses. We will be incorporating standing postures, balance postures, flows, arm balances, and floor work in the movements while aligning them with breathwork for maximum results.
The asana practice will be supported by a foundational theme of inner work that incorporates the use of reflective exercises, mantra, meditation, and breathing to shift your energy in the way that best aligns to your higher self. We will be using techniques from a variety of different practices allowing you to test and experience which methods are best suited for your needs.
Optimal results are achieved by attending all four classes in the series, however we know that sometimes work and family commitments don’t make that feasible. So you are also welcome to drop-in for classes when it fits your schedule.
