Experience the powerful healing benefits of the forest on a guided forest bathing experience. In this 90-Minute session you will be invited to connect with nature in a deep and interactive way. Your guide will introduce you mindful practices and meditations that you can use to calm your body and mind, slow down, and find peace in the present moment. Along the way you will gather fallen objects in the forest that catch your eye. Upon the completion of our walk, you will be guided through an exercise to complete a mandala with the nature objects that reflect your current and future life.
What Can You Expect?
A slow moving guided walk with intentional activities each step of the way. As you move through the forest, your guide will introduce you to some of the local plants and how they may be used for foraging and health benefits. You may have the opportunity to touch, taste, smell, and interact with the plant life. You will also be invited to reflect on your own inner experience within your body, your thoughts, and your emotions. You will learn how to use nature as a tool to support your well-being, reduce stress, and find greater joy in your life.
What To Wear?
We recommend you dress appropriately for the local weather conditions and to be in a covered forest. Typically this includes:
- closed toe running shoes or boots
- Long sleeve shirt or jacket
- Bug spray or jacket in warmer months
- Winter outerwear in winter months
