We refuse to give this menace of an issue some call Covid anymore power. So you won’t hear us utter that word around here. We affectionately call it CoCo to lessen its power. Nonetheless, we are required to outline what we are doing about it. So, please read on.
First off, we’d like to inform you that we are a natural environment and have developed a deep relationship with the healing powers of the forest. We believe in breathing fresh air, exercising, interacting with natural microbes, meditating, and laughing. Community with each other and nature are important elements of health and continue to be so.
So with that said, here are the CoCo guidelines.
Prior to Arrival: We are required to ask you to complete a self-screen prior to arrival (COVID-19 customer screening). If you have any symptoms or have been instructed by a physician to avoid contact with others please contact us to make changes to your reservation.
Washrooms/Showers: Washrooms will be cleaned twice daily when multiple cabins are rented, once daily if you are the only guests onsite.
Here’s how we can all contribute to a shared space:
- Only 1 Family in the washroom at a time please.
- Your cabin has been assigned a specific indoor shower + toilet to minimize cross contact. Please see the signs in the washrooms. Note: These still may be shared with guests from another cabin.
- Wash your hands before and after use.
- Wipe down counters with a clean paper towel after use to minimize water on counters.
- Please do not leave any toiletries in the shower or washroom areas. Bring them back to your cabin or throw them in the trash.
- We encourage all guests to bring their own bath towels and toiletries during this time.
Cabins: Each cabin is cleaned after guests depart. All of our mattresses are fitted with a mattress cover and an additional fitted sheet. The sheets are washed between guests as well. So when you arrive you can put your clean linens on top without worry.
Space Out: You likely won’t come close to others unless you invite them over to your bonfire. However, if you do happen to bump into someone in the washroom we ask that you wait until they are finished before entering.
Masks: We all know the drill by now. Masks are expected to be worn in indoor common areas. However, if you have an exemption that prevents you from wearing a mask we respect that and you are welcome to join us.
We know this is a sensitive topic for some. If you see someone without a mask we ask that you please be compassionate and understanding to their medical needs.
Contactless Service: We use a self check-in and check-out service to minimize physical contact during your stay. We also offer self-serve wood and firewood sales onsite (cash only). If you wish to make a purchase from our boutique during your stay we can serve you directly or you can also send us a text and we can issue a digital invoice. If there is a will there is a way 🙂
Concerns: If you have questions or concerns we are happy to answer them prior to your arrival. We want all of our guests to feel relaxed during their stay. We do have shared spaces in order to utilize the rest rooms. If you are not comfortable being in shared spaces we do not recommend staying with us until the situation changes. We hope to be here for many years in the future and you will enjoy your stay much more if you can feel relaxed.
