Mom’s Peace Out Retreat

Being a mom is HARD regardless of whether you work outside the home, inside the home, or both. We live in a time where we are expected to do it all and remain calm, but sometimes mom just needs a BREAK. You spend all of your days giving and helping other people with very little opportunity to receive energy and care back into your own being. When you are completely drained, exhausted, unappreciated, and confused about your identity it is time to carve out some time for yourself. You will be able to handle so much more when you can find peace in your own heart and restore the energy you have so lovingly given away.

Mom’s Peace Out Retreat is a day for moms with kids of any age to escape from the duties at home and work so that you can become whole again. We will give you the peace and quiet to hear your own thoughts, to feel your soul again, and to enjoy a complete meal without having to get up multiple times to serve your own family. You deserve a day for you without any guilt.

Soul Connection Workshop

Becoming a parent is a life changing experience no matter how it happens, you are forever changed. The transition is beautiful but can also leave us feeling confused about what we once thought was our identity and purpose in life. Wiping bums and spending hours cutting crust off of sandwiches can do that to a person! In this workshop you will reconnect with your higher self and soul to reinstall your identity back into your body. You will discover how parenting fits into this identity rather than it being the primary or only identity you have.

Personal & Family Peace Activation

Families are wonderful learning grounds because they generate drama, love, disagreements, frustration, and all different emotions and energies that cause us to reflect on ourselves. However, sometimes the energy can become stuck within ourselves or our home. When this happens, we find ourselves in a loop of the same emotion – whether it be anger, sadness, hurt, frustration. In this activation session you will learn how to connect to the higher selves of each family member and clear out the difficult emotions and loops that may exist between you. Then you will have an opportunity to activate a greater sense of peace and love amongst each other, all operating from the soul level in fifth dimension.

Meditative Painting Workshop

Tap into the subconscious energy of motherhood in this relaxing experience. Through guided meditations, you will identify the energies and emotions that your body holds in your daily life and use active art techniques to help ‘massage’ and release any discomfort or tension held. This is an active process experience where the journey of the art is more valuable than the finished piece.

Powerful Mother Archetype

So often we have been programmed to hate everything that our bodies and souls have gone through to become a mother. We judge our bodies, feel guilt about our emotions, struggle with our work and purpose in life. Many of these judgements are not even our own. They do not come from our soul, but from the programming of the society we live in. During this session we will break free from these damaging beliefs and rediscover the power that exists with some of these necessary changes. We will explore the mother archetype, physiology, energetic, and spiritual necessities that come from becoming a parent.

Hot Stone Silent Meditation

We know the biggest challenge as a mom is having just a few moments of silence to hear your own thoughts. To integrate all of the energy work from the day you will enjoy the last hour of your retreat resting in silence while warm lava stones our placed on the body. The stones help to keep you grounded in the body, relax your muscles, and give you the space you need to hear your own thoughts.

Retreat Guide: Jennifer Kavanagh

Jennifer is the Founder and Lead Soul Guide at The Soul Institute. She has spent most of her life studying psychology, transformational learning, and contemplative healing practices. She is trained in yoga, meditation, transpersonal counselling, and other healing modalities along with a grounded foundation in education held in a Masters of Education and PhD research in Adult Education. Jennifer has spent the last decade guiding others to find their purpose in life and align to their life they desire. She is a mom to two beautiful girls whom she homeschools while also running The Soul Institute.

1-Day Retreat $150+HST per person (Includes Lunch)

A $50 deposit is required to reserve your space in the retreat. The balance will be due upon arrival at your retreat.

Cancellation Policy

Retreat deposits are non-refundable. We do not issue refunds if you are unable to attend. However, you may transfer your spot to another person should be unable to attend.
